Become a Mediator for the Better Business Bureau

The Better Business Bureau serving Greater Kentucky and South-Central Indiana’s Dispute Resolution Department is expanding and the program needs to increase the number of trained mediators and arbitrators who work with the program. 

BBB Mediations serve the community by bringing together local businesses and their customers with the goal of settling disputes in an informal setting.  Mediators and arbitrators are a vital part of the BBB’s Dispute Resolution Program and have been the key to settling numerous disputes in communities all over Kentucky.  

The BBB schedules mediations both in-person at the Louisville office or via Zoom.  BBB Mediations usually last only 1-2 hours. Mediators and arbitrators receive a stipend for their time and services.

BBB mediators and arbitrators typically have one hearing every two months. Our mediation program does require that you have previous training or experience in mediating cases.
